"Le Dieci Querce" is in the Salerno District,in the territory of
Policastro Gulf.
The landscape is hilly and the altitude is about 200m.
The gully where "Le Dieci Querce"is situated gives the illusion
of an high mountain. landscape,whether becauseof the panorama,that allows
the view of the sea only in clear days,or because of the vegetation
never excessively sun-scorched, or because of pleasant climate that in the
summertime,with a continuous breeze,permit to take the sun even in the sun
even in the usually more sweltering hours and that, in the evening, allows
to have a quiet sleep even because of the absence of mosquitoes,whereas in
the wintertime there isn't that humidity that usually is a feature of the
areas near the seaside, in facts sometimes is possible to find the snow.
Just out our gate, on the left,You enter to the Cilento
National Park,the unique example in Italy of UNESCOHuman
Inheritance;on the right,covering a distance of just 7Km,You are on the Villammare
beach, but if You want to visit the outskirts,You can rapidly reach the most
renowned touristic spots as
Maratea or Palinuro.
